Blog: Comporta guide

With the arrival of warmer weather, we feel like returning to Comporta. There's something about the days there - between the countryside and the sea - that invites you to slow down.

Until September, Torres Novas is at the
Casa da Cultura in Comporta, where we have our towels in a space that we share with other Portuguese brands that I really like: Loja das Tábuas, HLC Jewelry, Paez and Vintage Bazaar. Stop by, it's worth a visit.

This year, there are some places I want to return to and others I have on my list to discover:

Hotel Independente Comporta - A peaceful place, surrounded by greenery, where Torres Novas is also present. I like the way the space is integrated into the landscape and the calm you feel as soon as you arrive. Ideal for resting and exploring the surroundings in time.

JNcQUOI Beach Club - For a long lunch overlooking the sea or a drink at the end of the day with your feet in the sand. The menu combines simple flavors with good ingredients and the atmosphere is relaxed but careful.

Gelataria Gulato - An obligatory stop after the beach. The ice creams are handmade with natural ingredients and the flavors change frequently - there's always something new to try. I usually choose pistachio and coffee, but there are more creative options for those who want to experiment.

Mercearia O Gomes - One of my favorite stores in the village. It's a traditional grocery store where everything is on offer: lots of Portuguese products, designer items and little finds for the home. It's worth taking your time and exploring.
