At Torres Novas, our photo shoots are about more than just pretty pictures — we want to tell stories. Therefore, every detail matters. Our most recent shoot for our new Nazaré napkins took place in a charming private home in Lisbon, bathed in that golden, gentle light that only late afternoons in the city can bring. Photography was by the talented Twelve Four Studio, video by Francisca Capelo, and the creative direction — as always — by our Torres Novas team.

A beautiful table isn’t just about textiles — so we carefully selected some of our favourite pieces to help set the tone for a Mediterranean-inspired, inviting scene. Perfect for hosting, or simply for enjoying a quiet, beautiful moment at home.

Nazaré napkins, of course
Our starting point was the Nazaré collection: cotton napkins with soft piping and fun embroidery — the perfect balance between rustic and refined. We used several colour combinations (white, sky blue, navy blue, beige, red and green) to show off the collection's versatility.

Portuguese ceramics with Brazilian soul, by Valsa Home
The plates came from Valsa Home, a Portuguese brand with a Brazilian soul, which shares our love for thoughtful details and objects with a story. Their handmade ceramics, with soft tones and organic shapes, were the perfect complement to our table linen.

Sanimaia bamboo cutlery
We chose bamboo-handle cutlery from Sanimaia to add a natural touch to the composition. The texture of the bamboo, paired with the elegant finish, gave the table a laid-back yet sophisticated feel.

Gleba’s delicacies (and their constant support)
No Torres Novas table is complete without delicious food. As always, our dear friends at Gleba spoiled us with their best: barbela bread, croissants, pain au chocolat, madeleines, cookies, olive oil... absolutely divine — and beautiful too. Kasa wicker glasses and napkin rings
For a handcrafted finishing touch, we used wicker-covered glasses from Kasa and matching napkin rings. These small elements brought a summery, relaxed and very Portuguese feel to the table.
